MPCC offering selection of community classes

Mid-Plains Community College (MPCC) in Imperial is beginning community education classes this month, said Brenda Ledall, MPCC Imperial campus coordinator.
Ledall said she and Carla Colton, MPCC office assistant, brainstorm ideas together to select what classes to offer.
“We look at trends in what other college sites are offering and try to offer as versatile a selection as possible,” said Ledall.
About one third of the classes scheduled are a result of instructors who contact the college about teaching a class, she said.
A couple of classes are being offered in January to those individuals who are thinking about updates to  their home or venturing into new territory by trying new kitchen gadgets with their cooking.
