Masks the norm as school starts

First day of classes at Chase County Schools came Wednesday, and students and staff certainly had a different look. Supt. Adam Lambert, above, in his first year at CCS and also amid the COVID-19 era, greeted students and offered masks if needed. The school’s operational plan requires masks in common use areas, which includes busses. Just about off one of the busses Wednesday morning, all wearing colorful masks, were, front from left, Dawson Stafford, Hadley Worth, Jordyn Stafford and Henley Worth. Meanwhile, those crossing 9th Street to the school were kept safe by crossing guard Diane Bischoff.
