A chance to say ‘We miss you’

A lot of us are missing the human contact of family and friends amid the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines and stay-at-home suggestions. But, on Saturday night, staff and students from Chase County Schools were able to tell each other they are missed in a “drive-by” in front of the school. About 35 staff members took part in the half-hour event, standing along East 9th Street to wave as cars drove by. Staff and students have not been attending regular classes in the building since mid-March.
