CCS students preparing for 2020 speech season

The high school speech season will begin with the Chase County Invitational on Jan. 11
Speech Coach Alex Schilke has nine to 12 students interested in competing.
“I have only one returning speaker,” Schilke said. “Tegan Towns—she did very well last year. I’m excited to see how this year will go for her.”
Towns is a junior who will again compete in poetry.
“She’s still working on finalizing her pieces,” Schilke added.
