CCS grad returns home to teach

■ Editor’s note: This is one in a series of articles on new certificated staff at Chase County Schools.

   Nathan Gaswick, another Chase County Schools (CCS) graduate, has returned to his hometown to join  the teaching staff.
    Gaswick said he wanted to bring to CCS credentials to make a difference and “not just be from here,” he said.
    He is teaching grades 7-12  physical education, body conditioning, and is an assistant high school football and wrestling coach.
    Gaswick graduated from CCS in 2005 and continued his education at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 2009.
    In 2011, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas.
    He acquired three endorsements—physical education, business education and technology education.
    By the summer of 2014, he had completed his Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
