Board purchases new math textbooks; approves several capital improvements

New math textbooks will be on their way to Chase County Schools after board members approved the $72,703.65 expenditure at the May 14 meeting.
That was just one expenditure made from an agenda that included several capital improvement projects and equipment purchases.
The grade K-8 math textbooks will include new Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 materials in the enVision series.
Jon Lechtenberg, 7-12 principal, told board members he believes this series is the best for Chase County Schools.
Staff had a chance to review four different textbooks. After feedback was reviewed, the enVision series was chosen, he said.
