Offense improving for Longhorn softball team

Coach Denise Smith said her Lady Longhorns hit over .300 on the day and she felt her young pitchers are showing improvement.

Jaiden Hill pitched a complete game for the Lady Longhorns. Hill allowed eight hits and three walks.
Sadie Peterson and Ashlie Benge each had a hit and an RBI. Cupp also tallied an RBI.
CCS faced Gothenburg in its second game. The Lady Longhorn defense gave up 14 runs in the first inning, then held the Swedes scoreless in the second and third innings.

Chavira handled pitching duties. She allowed six hits, five walks and had a strike-out.
