Suzann Harmon

Suzann (Bilka) Harmon, 69, of Imperial, Neb., passed away Dec. 19, 2017 at her home.  She was on born on July 14, 1948 to Laddie and Charlotte (Pribbeno) Bilka in Crete.
She attended Enders Grade School and graduated from Chase County High School in 1967.
After graduation, Suzann briefly attended a cosmetology school but returned to Imperial to be a wife and mother.
She was married to Ron Harper for 21 years.  They were blessed with two sons, Shane and Steven.
Suzann married Lester Harmon in 1990.
Suzann was known for her love for her family, friends and her son’s dogs which she open-heartedly adopted after Steven’s sudden death.  She especially cherished her great nieces and nephews from the Bilka side.  
Suzann is survived by her husband Lester Harmon of Imperial; son Shane Harper of Kearney; brother Terry Bilka of Enders; niece Charlesa (JR) Kline of Imperial; nephew Joseph (Lyndsey) Bilka of Holdrege; great-nieces and nephews Averi, Hadli, Cambell, Corbin and Gabe; stepsons Skipper and Carl Harmon; along with numerous additional family and friends.
Suzann was preceded in death by her son Steven Charles Harper in 2013 and parents Laddie and Charlotte Bilka.  
A rosary was held on Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Imperial with a Funeral Mass following at 10 a.m. Father Lothar Gilde officiated.
Inurnment was held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Imperial.  Liewer Funeral Home of Imperial was entrusted with the arrangements.
The family has asked for memorials to be sent to the donor’s choice or St. Joseph Institution for the Deaf in St. Louis, Mo.
