Rosalie Ringleman

Rosalie Ann (Kenagy) Ringleman was born March 16, 1930, in Bridgeport, Nebraska, to A. Hazel (Garrett) and L. Wayne Kenagy. Rosalie attended school in Harrison and graduated from Harrison High School in 1948. After graduation, she taught school in Hyannis.
On July 24, 1949, Rosalie married John J. Ringleman in Oshkosh. The couple first settled in Julesburg, Colorado, where Rosalie worked at the local grocery store. In 1954, Rosalie and John moved their family to Alliance. After their children were all in school, Rosalie went to work at Alliance Public Schools as a librarian and secretary, retiring in 1992. She moved to Imperial in 2003 to be closer to her children.
Rosalie loved travelling with her sister, Helen. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, tatting, cross stitching, quilting, and flower gardening. Rosalie made each grandchild a quilt for their high school graduation.
Rosalie passed away July 13, 2018, at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home in Imperial. She was 88 years of age.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Hazel; husband John; father and mother-in-law John and Sophie Ringleman; brothers Harry, Robert and Jack; sister Helen Prosser; brothers-in-law Leonard Prosser, Fritz Potenski and Dwayne English; sisters-in-law Marie Potenski, Delores English, Audrey Kenagy, Francine Kenagy and Jan Kenagy; daughter-in-law Jeri Ann Ringleman; and infant great-grandson Kai Ringleman.
Survivors include sons Launy (Lorrie) Ringleman of Imperial, Steven (Brenda) Ringleman of Page, Arizona, Darrell Ringleman of Bakersfield, California, Dennis (Tina) Ringleman of Loveland, Colorado; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Rosalie will be held Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, 11 a.m. at the Alliance Cemetery, Alliance.
A memorial has been established in Rosalie’s memory, to the Imperial Manor Nursing Home, Imperial.
