Paula Lynne Stinson
Paula Lynne Stinson was born July 30, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Chester P. (Jr) and Kathleen Louise (Johnston) Dennhardt.
Kathleen later married Welby H. Collins of Imperial, Nebraska, where Paula grew up and attended school. She graduated from Chase County High School in 1969.
On July 19, 1991, Paula married Robert Stinson at the United Methodist Church in Imperial and the couple settled in Palisade. Paula was employed as a medical secretary at the Imperial Medical Clinic and the Trenton Medical Clinic. She also worked at the Sew Blessed Quilt Shop in McCook.
Paula enjoyed yard work, planting flowers, taking care of her horses, collecting antiques, and she loved her cats. Paula especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Paula passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at the Chase County Hospital of Imperial. She was 69 years of age.
Paula was preceded in death by her mother Kathleen Collins; step-father Welby Collins; step-daughter Gina Stinson; brother-in-law Don Jones; and half-brother Frederick Dennhardt.
Survivors include: husband Robert Stinson of rural Palisade; daughter Renee Grayson and husband Bryan of Oceanside, California; step-daughter Lisa Stinson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; step-son Blaine Stinson and wife Tessa of Palisade; six grandchildren, Rylan Grayson, Katelyn Coman, Jacob Melton, Kyle Melton, Jaime Melton and Anna Marie Stinson; one great-grandchild, Aiden Coman; sister Karen Jones of Lincoln, California; half-sister, Frances Joan Wilkey and husband David of Saluda, South Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 4, 11 a.m. (MT) at Liewer Funeral Home, Imperial, with Pastor Matt Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2-6 p.m. (MT) at the funeral home in Imperial.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been suggested to the McCook Humane Society, 100 South Street, McCook, NE 69001
