Marion “Drano” Goff

Marion Duane “Drano” Goff was born June 9, 1953 in Farmington, New Mexico to Marion and Maxine Goff.
He attended high school in Farmington and later married his wife of 38 years, LeAnna, on June 13, 1980 at the United Methodist Church in Imperial, Nebraska. The couple continued to reside in Imperial. Drano was a truck driver for much of his life and enjoyed his life on the open road as much as he enjoyed being home with his family.
He was a founding and lifetime member of the District 12 ABATE organization and was a member of the VFW and the local Eagles Club.
Drano enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle with friends, fishing, hunting, driving his truck across the country and spending time at home with his family.
Drano passed away Oct. 4, 2018 at Great Plains Regional Health Center in North Platte. He was 65 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marion R. and his grandparents.
Survivors include his mother, Maxine Goff of Farmington, New Mexico; sister Linda Goff of Farmington, New Mexico; brother Larry (Sheri) Goff of Farmington, New Mexico; wife LeAnna (Gardner) Goff of Imperial; brothers-in-law Myron (Carol) Gardner of Arvada, Colorado, Delvin (Loneta) Gardner of Osmond, Butch (Pam) Gardner of Milwaukie, Oregon; sisters-in-law Laveta Reynolds of Parker, Colorado, Pauline Brandt and Shirley Gardner, both of Imperial; daughters Joni (Alan) Carman of Imperial and Jani Miller of Imperial; son Dirk (Chris) Miller of McCook; grandchildren Savanna (Kyle) Webster of Lincoln, Sybil (John) Carman of Lincoln and Cassie (Dustin) Carman of Imperial; great-grandchildren Zariah Carman and Finn Harris.
A celebration of life will be held Nov. 3 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Imperial Eagles Club.
