Leta M. Cook

Leta M. Cook was born to Melvin and Macie (Enterline) Woodworth in Loretta on December 19, 1927. On Sept. 9, 1945, she married Arlon Cook in Imperial.
Leta was a wife, homemaker and mother of 4. When her youngest entered school, she went to work for the Spokane School District in Washington as cafeteria staff working up to managing several local junior highs. She fed children for 26 years and continued to feed her family wonderful and skillfully prepared meals.
Leta passed into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ Thursday morning, Sept. 26, 2019 in Spokane, Washington. She was 91 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Arlon of 65 years.
Survivors include daughters Cheryl Thomas, Marcia Cook, both of Spokane, Washington; sons Michael Cook of Pullman, Washington, Jeffrey Cook of Colbert, Washington; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters Ruby Boyd of Vancouver, Washington, Norma Barnes of Gresham, Oregon; brother Duane Woodworth of Vancouver, Washington.
The family had a private family service.
