Lendall L. Jahn

Lendall Larry Jahn was born Jan. 14, 1958, at Manning, Iowa, to Larry L. and Marlene K. (Anthony) Jahn.
As a young man he grew up and attended school in Manilla, Iowa, graduating from Manilla High School in 1976. Lendall moved soon after graduation to southwest Nebraska, working construction and building irrigation pivots.
After a short time his 40-year career with what is now T.O. Haas Tire Company began, and he was currently acting manager.
Lendall married Mary Ann Elizabeth Brantley on Aug. 16, 1997, in Imperial, Nebraska, and the couple made Imperial their home.
Lendall was a member of the Imperial Eagles Club and a social member of the Imperial VFW. He had many hobbies including fishing, hunting and participating in fantasy football.
Lendall passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at his home in Imperial. He was 60 years of age.
Survivors include wife Mary Ann of Imperial; mother Marlene Jahn of Manilla, Iowa; daughter Barbara Obermeier of Kearney, son Kenneth (Colene) Geiger of Holdrege and daughter Becky (Daniel) Daire Kearney; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters Lynette (Chad) Gaskill of Manilla and Laurie North of Manilla; brothers Lance Jahn of Sioux City, Iowa and Lonnie Jahn of Manilla.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 1, at 2 p.m. at the Imperial Berean Church with Pastor Matt Maxwell officiating. Interment followed on Monday, June 4, at the Manning Cemetery, in Manning, Iowa.
A memorial has been suggested to the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department.
