Kent Leroy Miller, 84

Kent Leroy Miller, age 84, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on May 8, 1940, in Imperial, Nebraska, to the late Locy Freddie and Marvel Nellie (Wheeler) Miller.
Kent spent many years farming in Lamar, Nebraska. After retiring from farming, he dedicated two decades to selling Pioneer seed corn. A man of many talents and interests, Kent especially enjoyed working with stained glass, one of his many hobbies.
He was a dedicated volunteer, giving his time to Horses for the Handicap in Sebring for many years. Later in life, he delivered for Meals on Wheels in Sebring until he could no longer continue on his own. Even then, he remained involved by accompanying his daughter, Christene Kneubuhl, on her delivery routes.
Kent and his beloved wife of 62 years, Nancy Lee Miller, shared a love of travel and spent many joyful years exploring the United States and Canada in their motorhome. They served as camp hosts in North Dakota for several seasons, watching the park flourish over the years. They also served as State Directors for the Newmar Country Club in Florida.
Kent loved fishing, especially in Canada, but one memorable trip stands out: a multi-generational journey with his father, his son, and other relatives that created cherished memories.
He is survived by:
•    Son: Daniel L. Miller and Annette Murphy of Salem, Oregon
•    Daughters: Christene K. (David) Kneubuhl of Sebring, Florida; Terri L. Miller of Sebring, Florida
•    Sisters: Gloria (Ron) Patrick of Grant, Nebraska, and The Villages, Florida; Ilene Weider of Littleton, Colorado; Kathy (Dave) Cook of Lamar, Nebraska
•    Along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Nancy and his parents.
Kent will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
