Kenneth Michael (Mike) Johnston

It is with great sadness that the family of Mike Johnston announces his passing on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the age of 64 years. Mike was best known for his love of fishing, bourbon, cigars, and his matter of fact opinion. He had a great sense of humor, and was always up for a laugh.
When he had a moment to relax you could find him “front porch sittin” and strumming on his guitar. He enjoyed spending time with his family and everyone loved to have him around.
Mike will be remembered by his son Kenneth (JR) and his grandson Ethan. He will also be remembered by his siblings Tom (Loretta), Sharon, Pat (Chuck), Jim (Linda), Rita, Linda (Ernest) as well as by his large extended family.
Mike is preceded in death by his loving wife Kathy and his daughter Kandi. He is also preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Dolly Johnston, as well as his brother Phillip.  
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 13, 5-7 p.m. at Horan and McConaty in Denver, Colorado.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at the Horan and McConaty. Interment followed at Eastlawn Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
