Gwendolyn M. Vogler

Gwendolyn M. Vogler was born to Henry W. and Edna (Crouse) Curtis on Jan. 23, 1936 in Imperial, Nebraska.  She attended school in Imperial and graduated high school with the Class of 1954.
Gwen was united in marriage to Larry Vogler on Feb. 9, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple made homes in Detroit, Michigan and Denver, Colorado before living in Casper, Wyoming from 1981 to 1992.  In 1992, they made their final move to Colorado Springs, Colorado where they spent the next 28 years together.
Gwen worked in retail sales at Sears for 17 years.  She enjoyed traveling, photography and sewing.  The most important things to her where her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she was a devoted mother and grandmother who took great pride in keeping up with all their activities.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers: Vernon Vochum, Robert Curtis and Jim Curtis; sisters: Bernice Adkinson, Marilyn Bartels and Alice Lindekugel; and son-in-law, Michael Stinson.
Survivors include: husband, Larry Vogler of Colorado Springs, Colorado son, Randy (Lana) Richter of Hayes Center, daughter, Jodi Stinson of Lincoln, stepson, Mark (Cherish) Vogler of Holly Springs, North Carolina, stepson, Brian (Janelle) Vogler of Elkhorn, grandchildren: Kristine (Brian) Hennessy of Los Angeles, California, Jeff (Stephanie) Guthrie of Canyon City, Colorado, Holly Guthrie of Lincoln, Jenny Guthrie of Lincoln, Tiffany Guthrie of Waterloo, Iowa, Sara Richards of Omaha, Evan Richter of Omaha and Blaine Richter of Omaha; great-grandchildren: McKenzie Barnes of Lincoln, Harmony Yankton of Lincoln, Camryn and Natallia Guthrie of Waterloo, Iowa, Aubree and Adrianna Richards of Omaha, Chase Richter of Omaha, Liam, Abigail, Piper and Beckett Costello of Los Angeles, California; brothers and sisters: Guy (Ruth) Curtis of Fort Collins, Colorado, June (Bill) Sharp of Imperial, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Gwen passed away on Jan. 4, 2020 in Colorado Springs; she was 83 years of age.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, March 16, 2020 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial with Pastor Rob Clay officiating.  Inurnment will follow services in Mount Hope Cemetery.
No viewing; cremation was chosen.
