Denise Joanne Foley

Denise Joanne Foley, 62 of Julesburg, Colorado passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at University Colorado Health Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
Denise was born July 8, 1958, in Denver, Colorado to Albert John Lenhart and Elizabeth Mae Hamilton. She graduated from Thornton High School in 1977.
On March 4, 1978, Denise married Steven Howard Foley in Casper, Wyoming. The couple made their home in Wright, Wyoming before moving to Aurora, Colorado in the early 1980s. In 1997 Steve and Denise moved to Imperial, Nebraska where they lived until moving to Julesburg in 2016. While in Imperial, Denise owned her own nail solan called Just Digits where she helped build women’s confidence by insuring they had beautiful hands and feet. Denise was an active and loved member of the community where she developed and nurtured many friendships. Denise also supported her husband Steve Foley in the daily business of Foley’s Transportation. Throughout her life Denise was a faithful, devoted wife, mother, dog mom and friend. Always willing to help others and offer an optimistic view on life. Denise loved her husband, daughters, family, friends and pets unconditionally. She also enjoyed camping with the family, gardening and decorating her home for every holiday. She especially loved Christmas and baking wonderful treats and cookies she would share with all. She also enjoyed collecting strawberries, Tweety Birds, miniature tea sets and angels.
Denise was preceded in death by her father, Albert Lenhart; Mother, Betty Horn; and husband, Steven Foley.
Survivors include, but are not limited to, her daughters Heather Foley and Shannon (Chris) Foley Knoble; grandchildren Jordan (Leslie) Foley, Jessy Hall, Brandon Poole and Rachel Hall; great-grandchildren Leila, Lily and Delilah; big brother Ron Lenhart; little sister Suzanne Martin; little brother Steve Lenhart; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Crook located at 106 3rd Avenue, Crook, CO 80726. (970-886-3151). Pastor Dale Pierce will officiate the ceremony. Lunch will be provided by the ladies of the church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Denise’s life.
