Death Notice: Themla Ridlen

Thelma Ridlen, a longtime resident of Palisade, Nebraska, passed away Saturday evening, July 28, 2018 at the Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial.  She was 87 years of age.
Survivors include husband Ray Ridlen of Palisade; daughters Charlene (Grant) Pfanstiel of McCook, Rhonda Ridlen of Palisade; sons Ronald (Nancy) Ridlen of Palisade, Byron (Karleen) Ridlen of Anthony, Kansas; sisters-in-law Marie Mader of Tacoma, Washington, Lucille (Verlon) Dinnel of Imperial, Leola Ridlen of Aurora, Colorado, Deanna Ridlen of Aurora, Colorado; brother-in-law Carl (Virginia) Ridlen of Fairview, Tennessee; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Thelma Ridlen were held at 10:30 a.m. CT, Thursday (today), August 2, at the United Methodist Church in Palisade with Pastor Elias Mukindia and Mr. Dan Lindsted officiating.  Interment followed services in the Palisade Cemetery, Palisade, Nebraska.
Visitation was held Wednesday, August 1, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta.
A memorial has been established to the Palisade Volunteer Fire Department.
