Death Notice: Russell Schilke

    Russell “Russ” Schilke of Imperial passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte. He was 57 years of age.
    Survivors include parents  Darty and Marla Schilke of Imperial; wife LaRae (La-Ray) of Imperial; son Michael Schilke of Lincoln; daughter Joannah Schilke of Bennington; stepson Damon (Renee) Behee of Lorena, Texas; stepdaughter Sheila Alsip of Lorena, Texas; granddaughter Cheyenne; four stepgrandchildren; brother Mark (Cathy) Schilke of Imperial; and sister Deb (Dave) Harmon of Imperial.
    Funeral services for Russell Schilke will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial with Pastor David Kahle officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
    Visitation will be held today (Thursday) from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home in Imperial.
    A memorial has been established to the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial.
