Death Notice: Kia M. Smith

Kia M. Smith, Kearney infant, died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Children’s Hospital in Omaha. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl funeral and cremation services in Kearney. Rev. Chad Anderson will officiate and private family burial will be prior to services. There will be no visitation.

Kia was born on Dec. 9, 2017 to Chevy B. and Becky A. (Berven) Smith in Omaha, Nebraska.
Surviving relatives include her parents, Chevy and Becky Smith of Kearney; sister Lyla K. Smith of Kearney; maternal grandparents Richard and Marilyn Berven of Grand Island; paternal grandparents Gregg and Denise Smith of Imperial; and numerous other extended family and friends.
