Death Notice: James Lee Kimberling

    James Lee Kimberling passed away peacefully from heart complications on April 3, 2018 at Saint Anthony’s Medical Center in Lakewood, Colorado.
    Kimberling was born Dec. 9, 1948 and adopted by Charlie and Mary Kimberling. He attended Chase County High School and graduated in 1967. He was previously married to Sheila Jaeger Johnson in 1969 and fathered a son, Cody Kimberling, in 1970.
    Jim was preceded in death by parents Charlie and Mary, sister Vinta Kimberling Claney and brother Vinton Kimberling.
    He is survived by his son Cody Kimberling, biological mother Vera Gleason and many relatives.
    Honoring his final wishes, funeral services were privately held.
