Death Notice: Gregorio Murillo

Resident of Imperial passed away Monday evening, Nov. 30, 2020, at the Chase County Community Hospital. He was 78 years of age.
Survivors include wife Socorro of Imperial; daughters Esperanza “Jessie” Murillo, of Imperial, Mary Quezada and husband, Jamie, of Imperial, Irma Murillo and Rueben Munoz, of Imperial, Angie Murillo, of Imperial, Veronica Murillo of Imperial; sons Gregorio Murillo III and wife, Maria, of Imperial, Ray Murillo and Stacy Fosbinder, of Imperial; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother Rey Murillo and wife, Stella, of Brownsville, Texas.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Imperial, with Father Lothar Gilde officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 4, 2-7 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Imperial.
A Rosary will be recited Friday, Dec. 4, 7 p.m. at St Patrick Catholic Church, Imperial.
A memorial has been suggested to the Murillo Family for a future designation.
