Darrell Kilpatrick

    Darrell K. Kilpatrick, 81, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at his home in Simi Valley, Calif.
    He was born Nov. 30, 1935 in Chase County, Neb., to Kermit Clay Kilpatrick and Opal Fern (Benson) Kilpatrick.
    Darrell was raised on a small farm west of Champion, Neb.
    He and wife Marilyn (Frasier) married in Imperial, Neb., in 1960 and then raised their three children in southern California where Darrell was the owner/operator of Kilpatrick Trucking in Simi Valley, Calif.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn in 1981.
    Survivors include his children Renee Hamilton of Chico, Calif., Shelly Kilpatrick of Imperial and Darren Kilpatrick of Kiowa, Colo.; sisters Deann (Eldon) Baurle of Redmond, Ore., and Susan (Galen) Skinner of Goehner; grandchildren Ryan, Mikayla and Cody Hamilton of Chico, Calif., and Meagan, Camron and Kaiden Kilpatrick of Imperial and Loveland, Colo.; and many friends.
    Memorials in his name may be made to the Lied Imperial Public Library in Imperial.
