Bill Dean Carmin, 58, of McCook, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home with loved ones at his side. He was born in Greeley, Colorado to Richard Dean and Janette Barbara (Thompson) Carmin on Feb. 13, 1963. He attended school in Imperial and graduated with the class of 1981.
Bill drove a mixer truck for Gerhold Concrete Company for many years until failing health forced him to retire. He was a hard worker and skilled welder.
Bill enjoyed hunting and time spent with his family. He was a proud father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Gladys Carmin and Glenn and Barbara Thompson; and a cousin, Kirk Collins.
He is survived by his loving partner, Barb Ostrum of McCook; parents, Richard and Janette Carmin of Imperial; daughter, Rachelle Carmin of Sidney; grandsons, Lincoln Dean Bonner and Carter Ray Vance Bonner; and sister, Barbara (Tim) Kilbourne of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Bill was a private and humble man; for that reason cremation was chosen and a private family graveside service will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the McCook Toy Box, a cause that Bill became active with and passionate about these last few years. Online condolences may be left at herrmannfh.com. Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
