Perkins County fair in full swing

    The Perkins County fair kicked off this week and will wrap-up Saturday night with the Perkins County Summer Jam.
    Five artists will take the stage Saturday, July 18, starting at 4:30 p.m. Gates will open at 3:45 p.m.
    Tim Zach, Frank Ray, Lakeview, Bayker Blankenship and George Birge will all perform throughout the night in Grant at the Perkins County Fair.
    Thursday  brings the kids Carnival from 5-10 p.m. Beer Garden opens at 5:00 and bingo begins at 6:00. FFA Farm Olympics , the Ranch Rodeo, Muttin Bustin’ and the Ranch Bronc Riding all take place Thursday night.
    On Friday, the 4-H Livestock Sale starts at 1:30. Kids Carnival opens from 5-10 p.m. The beer garden will be open from 5:00 until midnight. Bingo starts at 6:00 and then enjoy a free concert by Tim Zach with the gates opening at 5:00.
    Saturday, before the Summer Jam, there will be a parade at 10:00 a.m. followed by a BBQ from 11:00-12:30. The 4-H Style Show and Awards are at 12:30.
    The pedal tractor pull will begin at 2:30, with registration beginning at 2:00. The kids Carnival runs from 3-9, and the Beer Garden will be open from 3:45 until midnight. Bingo will start at 6:00.
