With the grandstands full and the deck in front of the stands covered in spectators, the Extreme Bull Riding Challenge did not disappoint. 815 tickets were sold for the event, making it one of the best selling bull riding events so far.
There were five segments to the event, with the third segment being five high school riders competing against one another.
The bulls were pitching a shut-out for a good portion of the first two segments, before the final two riders of the second segment recorded full rides.
In the high school division, Evan Lang was the only rider to stay on his bull for eight seconds, earning a score of 77 and winning the high school division.
All together in the professional riders, only five riders made it to the eight second buzzer. Winning the event with a score of 86.5, was Adam Mast from Kansas.
Coming in second with a ride scoring 84.5 was Wyatt Riddle. Two cowboys scored rides of 84 and the fifth ride came in at 81. Those five riders split the pot for the night.
Let the fair board members know if you would like to see the bull riding return next year. More photos appear on page 2.
