This year marks the 10th annual Smokin on Broadway, scheduled for Saturday June 27 at Cambell City Park. The event was originally scheduled to be held on the newly remodeled City Square, however, due to delays in the grass being installed, the event has been moved to the grassy area of Cambell Park.
Due to space limitations, the BBQ Contest and meal have been scrapped and the event will move forward with four musical acts and the ICFF Chase County Challenge.
Headlining this year’s concert will be Imperial natives, the Talbott Brothers. This marks the third time the Brothers will headline for Smokin on Broadway.
Supporting acts will be 2026 Chase County Schools Graduate Anna Lucia and 2006 CCS Alumni, Chris Larson. Larson played at last years event, but his set was cut short due to an impending storm. Lucia performed an opening set at Last years Chase County Fair.
Also joining the fun will be a special guest of the Talbott Brothers, Austin Mackay. Mackay hales from Australia and is quickly becoming one of Australia’s most captivating new artists.
The Imperial Community Foundation Fund will also be bringing back their Chase County Challenge in it’s fourth installment. Local Non-Profits will have booths set up for the public to peruse during the concert. ICFF is matching donations up to $50,000 for eligible Non-Profits.
Beverages will be provided by Broken Arrow Cellars/Hanging Horseshoe Brewing Co. and the Beverage Barn. Thanks to generous sponsorships, the event is free to the public. Those attending will be issued a wristband once they get on the grounds.
The ICFF booths and concert will kick off at 5:30, with the Talbott Brothers set to go live around 7:30.
