CCS boys and girls first in Sutherland

The CCS Track Teams traveled to Sutherland a day early on Thursday, April 16, because of the prediction of inclement weather on Friday. The boys took the win over second place Dundy County Stratton by 25 points, while the girls bested second place Perkins County by 85.
The boys got the job done by placing several competitors in the top eight spots. The boys had four first place finishes in the 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay, discus and pole vault. Noah Rau once again improved on his State Record discus throw, going 207’ 3”.
The girls finished in the top spot in seven events including: 800 meters, 1600 meters, 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay and the pole vault.
