The Chase County Schools golf team took first place at the DCS Tournament on Tuesday, April 7. Placing for Imperial were: Cole Pankonin (5th), Zak Anderson (1st), Tate Teply (10th), Harrison Foote (13th), Braxton Chubb (16th), and Aidan
Tomky, 1st in Junior Varsity.

Longhorns win DCS Golf Tourney

    Tuesday, April 7, the CCS Golf Team traveled to Benkelman for the first golf tournament of the season. The Longhorns brought home the championship, outscoring second place DCS by 15 strokes.
    Zak Anderson took the top honors at the tournament, shooting a 33-36=69, to win by three strokes.
    Cole Pankonin was fifth, shooting 77, Tate Teply shot 82 for 10th, Harrison Foote carded an 84 for 13th and Braxton Chubb just missed the medals, placing 16th with an 89.
    Aidan Tomky took top honors in the junior varsity meet, shooting a 47.

Thursday, April 9 JV Tourney
    CCS hosted a JV Tournament on Thursday, April 9 at the Imperial Country Club. The Imperial JV Team finished in second place.
    Aidan Tomky placed first, Evan O’Neil fourth and Destry Oxford seventh.
