Area youth medal at State Wrestling Tournament

The weekend of March 21 & 22, 7 local youths competed in the NEUSA State Folkstyle Wrestling Tournament in Grand Island, NE.  The Chase County Wrestling Club had 9 youths qualify for state.  
 5 of them medaled:
Maura May - 3rd place (7th-8th grade)
Millianna May - 4th place (3rd-4th grade)
Trennin May - 5th place (1st-2nd grade)
Landry Fowler - 4th place (1st-2nd grade)
Maely May - 4th place (PreK-K)
Hayden Fowler (7th-8th grade) & Isaiah Pursley (5th-6th grade) also competed at the state tournament, gaining valuable experience competing at the highest level of youth wrestling in Nebraska.  Jeffrey Martin Jr. & Ridley Brinkema (both 7th-8th grade) also qualified, but did not compete.
