Challengers 4-H club plans community event for March 1

    On Feb. 15, the Challenger’s 4-H Club held an organizational meeting at the Champion Community Center. New officers were voted in for 2026. They include: President- Sawyer Sauder, Vice President-Hayden Worth, Secretary-Clayson Thayer, Treasurer-Hayden Fowler, Reporter-Emerson Beemer, Snacks-Josie Sauder.
    The group discussed the agenda for the year, including Community Service Events, the 4-H Carnival and a skating party.
    A community service event that the club helps out with is a trash pick-up day along the highway to Champion. The club also helps set-up and clean-up for the CCS Alumni Banquet.
    The date for the 4-H Carnival will be March 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the 4-H Building. There will be a lot of fun games, a cake walk and the country store.
    The skating party will be held on Sunday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Route 66 Roller Dome in Grant.
