Lady Longhorns face challenging week

The Chase County Lady Longhorns were quite busy last week as they took on three strong opponents in a busy stretch of games.
They kicked off the week with a home game against the Ogallala Indians on Tuesday, February 3rd. The game ended in a sad loss with the final score being 23-63.
On Friday, February 6th, the Lady Longhorns traveled to North Platte to play against the Irish. After a devastating loss against Ogalalla, they made a comeback and gained a victory. The final score of the game was 54-32 with Chase County in the lead by 22 points.
The girls ended the week with another loss on the home court. The Gering Bulldogs put up a good competiton and the final score was 37-50. After the last game of the week, their updated record is 6-14.
Next week, the Lady Longhorns will host Hitchcock County in their next home contest. Junior Varsity will begin at 4:00 p.m., with varsity to follow at approximately 5:30 p.m. Following that game, Chase County will host Maywood–Hayes Center on Friday, with junior varsity tipping off at 4:00 p.m. and varsity beginning at 5:30 p.m.
