W/P girls travel to Perkins Co, Chase Co.

    The W/P female wrestlers traveled to Grant on Tuesday, Jan. 13. All four wrestlers finished in the top four in their weights. Saviana Carrizales took the championship at 110 pounds.
Individual results
    110: Saviana Carrizales pinned Addison McGuire SW, 0:30; won by tech-fall over Kassidy Aden Her, 20-4; pinned Katie Fegley SW, 4:00 for first place.
    115: Andrea Almanza pinned Preslin Lutz OG, 2:47; pinned Keilah Curtis Max, 1:00; was pinned by Alyssa Koch SW, 1:18 for second place.
    125: Ensley Lawless was pinned by Jalie Barnhill OG, 2:40; was pinned by Tori Hutchinson SW, 5:08; pinned Eva Ochoa Camacho CCS, 1:12; was pinned by Payton Peterson Got, 1:34 for fourth place.
    235: Amya Keenan was pinned by Natalie Koetter SW, 1:03; was pinned by Madelyn Tryon SW, 2:59 for third place.
Imperial Invitational
    Despite only having three wrestlers participate Saturday, Jan 17, the lady Broncos finished 10th out of 16 teams at the tournament. All three girls medaled with two thirds, and a fifth.
