W/P girls 12th at Sidney wrestling

    The Wauneta/Palisade girls wrestling team only took four wrestlers to the Sidney Invite and came home with 12th place out of the 18 team field.
    Saviana Carrizales placed first at 105 pounds. Ensley Lawless took second at 125, Amya Keenan third at 235 and Andrea Almanza sixth at 115 pounds. The team scored 40 points.

    105: Saviana Carrizales pinned Grace Freeseman GR, 3:44; pinned Alexie Solis All, 5:34 for first place.
    115: Andrea Almanza was pinned by Alyssa Koch SW, 1:47; pinned Isabell Donker Hem, 3:43; pinned Desilee Hinman Hem, 0:55; was pinned by Madyson DeHart-Harris GR, 3:59 for sixth place.
    125: Ensley Lawless pinned Jalie Barnhill OG, 4:17; pinned Tori Hutchinson SW, 1:52; was pinned by Kaydence Mckee Ger, 0:43 for second place.
    235: Amya Keenan was pinned by Natalie Koetter SW, 0:43; was pinned by Madelyn Tryon SW, 1:21 for third place.
