Delvin N. Gardner, 84
Memorial visitation for Delvin N. Gardner, 84, of Osmond, will take place from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2026 at Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Osmond. Private family burial will take place at a later date at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Osmond. Delvin passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Plainview Manor in Plainview. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Osmond is in charge of the arrangements.
Delvin was born on September 21, 1941 in Imperial, NE to James and Edna (Jer) Gardner. He attended grade school at Imperial, NE to the 8th grade. Delvin married Loneta “Lonnie” Mae Waters on January 2, 1960 in Oregon. Delvin worked for the telephone company for 42 years. Delvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, picnics, going to family gatherings, working in the garden and lawn, going to the grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s activities, and tinkering in his garage.

Delvin was preceded in death by his parents James and Edna Gardner, son Randy Gardner, daughter Cristi Green, grandson Travis Gardner, granddaughter Tina Gerdes, Nephews Darin Gardner, Nathan Gardner, Aaron Gardner; sisters Pauline and Gilbert Brandt, Maurine and Gale Ransdell, brothers Myron Gardner, Larry and Shirley Gardner, sister-in-law Betty Vobora, brothers-in-law Richard Reynolds, Duane Goff, Vernerd Waters, Kirmit and Donna Waters, Nephew-in-laws Dennis Holmes, Moris Pargas, in-laws Harry and Thema Waters, Kirk Samples.
