W/P splits games with Bertrand

    The Broncos basketball teams hosted Bertrand Friday, Jan. 2 and came away with a win and a loss.
    In the girls game, the Broncos got off to a good start and never looked back, winning the game 71-45.
    In the boys game, it was all Bertrand. After pulling out to an 8-22 lead after the first quarter, the Broncos trailed 17-47 at the halftime break.
    In the third quarter, Bertrand held the Broncos scoreless and went on to win the game 27-69.
