The Imperial Police Department is ready to provide training to anyone interested in learning how to prevent, and become aware of human trafficking. The project is named the Set Me Free Project.
Officers and a citizen recently received training and are ready to bring this vital information directly to our community, offering programs for both adults and youth that cover topics like: Human trafficking for college and young adults; Human trafficking for school personnel; Social media for middle school; and Healthy relationships for high school.
This training is free and open to the public. Empower yourself and your community with the tools to identify signs, assess risk, and take a stand against human trafficking.
You can request your free training by calling the Imperial Police Dept. at 308-882-4400.
