The Imperial Pinnacle Bank Horns had a busy week with two away games against Ogallala and Holdrege.
On Thursday, the 19th, both teams traveled up north to compete against the Indians. The junior team successfully captured the win against the opposing team with the final score of 7-2. The senior team competed against the Indians twice, an already started game from June 12th, and a regular game already scheduled. Ogallaa was able to capture the victory in the delayed game, but the Horns didn’t let that happen in the second game by a landslide. The score for the game from the 12th was 4-5, but the regular game score was 15-5.
After completing Thursday’s game, the boys then traveled to compete against Holdrege. The underclassmen’s game ended in defeat with the final score of 1-16. The seniors had a closer game against them, only losing by one run. The final score for the upperclassmen was 5-6. After completing these games, the juniors’ record is 5-7, and the seniors’ record is 3-5.
Up next for the horns is a home game on Wednesday and an away game on Sunday. The game on the 25th is against McCook. It will begin at 4:30 for the juniors, with the seniors following at 7:00. The Horns will then travel to Broken Bow to compete at noon for the juniors, and 2:30 for the seniors.
