Imperial launches Community Beautification Initiative
Dear friends and neighbors,
With great enthusiasm, we are reaching out to share news about an exciting initiative that celebrates our shared commitment to making Imperial an even more beautiful place to call home. The City Council has partnered with West Central Nebraska Development District, Inc. (WCNDD) to launch a Community Beautification Program that aims to preserve the charm and character that makes our community special.
In the spirit of neighborly cooperation, WCNDD representatives will be visiting our community in the coming weeks. If your property might benefit from some tender loving care, you will receive a friendly notification by mail. Rest assured, we understand that life gets busy, and you will have plenty of time to address any concerns before further steps are necessary.
Our nuisance ordinance addresses several items that affect our shared spaces, including but not limited to:
• Unlicensed or inoperable vehicles
• Recreational equipment (including boat and yard trailers)
• Discarded automotive parts
• Dead, diseased, or dying trees
• Accumulated trash and refuse
We invite you to review our complete nuisance ordinance at the City office during regular business hours.
