
Mallie McNair named NAIA First Team All-American

Mallie McNair, formerly of Imperial, was named NAIA First Team All-American. McNair, a junior playing basketball for the Briar Cliff University Chargers, capped off her 24-25 season Monday morning by being named First Team NAIA All-American.
McNair started all 36 games for the Chargers and led the team in scoring, averaging 16.5 points per game while shooting 44.8% from the field and 42.6% from outside the arc. She scored in double figures in all but four games this season.
In an early game this season against Dakota Wesleyan, McNair scored a season high 32 points and had two steals.
McNair was also a firs team ALL-GPAC selection and first team ALL-NAIA Tournament Team. During the NAIA National Tournament, she averaged 17.6 points per game and led the Chargers to their first Round of Four appearance since the 2014-15 season.
In the round of 16 against Mid-America Christian, McNair scored a game high 27 points, shooting 50% from the field and went four of six from three point land.
