Following this successful game, Chase County returned to Cozad on February 27th. They were set to compete against the Hay Makers on their home court. Cozad was the number one seed in the tournament. When the game concluded, the final score was 50 to 30. The Haymakers claimed the victory, which left the Longhorns with a devastating loss, ending their season. With the loss of a sub-district game, the Chase County boys’ season came to a close. Overall, the Longhorns finished with 11 wins and 11 losses.
