CCS boys gain victory, lose another

After a busy season, the Chase County Boys competed in their last home game against North Platte St. Pats. The game took place on Friday, February 7th which was also senior night. The Longhorns competed well and claimed another victory against the Irish. The final score was 60 - 47 with the Longhorns in the lead by 13 points.
Once claiming a win, Chase County then traveled to Gering to compete against the Bulldogs the following day. On February 8th, the game ended in a sad loss for the Longhorns with the score being 39 - 48. The boy’s updated record is now 10 to 10.
Looking ahead for the boy’s team in one more regular season game and then the district tournament will follow. Their next game will take place on the 11th of February against Hitchcock County. The game will be located at Trenton and both Junior Varsity and Varsity will play. 3:00 pm is when the games are set to begin. After the game against the Falcons has commenced, Chase County will compete at Sub-Districts. The dates of those competitions are the 24th, 25th, and 27th of February with District Finals on March 3rd.
