Another year, another fun 4-H Carnival
This year’s 4-H Carnival was a success, earning approximately $2,000. The carnival was on March 24 in the Nutrien building, Chase County Fairgrounds. Money raised will be put towards 4-H senior scholarships for graduating seniors and 4-H enrichment scholarships to help defray the cost of 4-H projects or camp for Chase County 4-H members. There were many games area 4-H clubs put together including, Challengers Club: Pig/Horse Races, Bingo, Ring Toss and Ball Bounce Game; Silver Spurs Club: Cake Walk, Cotton Candy and Cornhole; Spring Creek: Fishing Booth and Ladder Toss; Independents: Caterpillar Game and Axe Throw; Clover Kids: Clover Wheel Spin; 4-H Council Youth Members: Plinko; Country Store: Challenger’s Club ran it with donations from all 4-H Families.
