Humphrey claims men’s tourney by three strokes

    Joe Humphrey shot 112 to take the men’s open tournament Sunday at the Enders Lake Golf Course.
    Humphrey, last year’s runner up, scored 39, 37 and 36 for a total of 112, three strokes better than second place finisher Matt Klima. Matt Howard was third with a total score of 122. The tournament had a field of 27 golfers.
    Klima was the front 9 medalist with a score of 37. Humphrey had the lowest nine-hole score of the tournament on his final round, 36.
    The championship flight played 27 holes and all others played 18 holes.
