Russell Dale Buczek

Russell Dale Buczek was born Dec. 20, 1955, in Ogallala, Nebraska to Della Marie (Priest) and Frank Joseph Buczek.
Russ grew up in the Denver, Colorado area and attended Denver East High School.
Russ was a local carpenter, specializing in home improvement. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Imperial, where he was employed as a cook.
Russ enjoyed fishing, cooking and acquiring antiques and collectables. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Russ passed away at his home in Imperial on Oct. 6, 2022. He was 66 years of age.
Survivors include son Jeremy (Jennifer) Buczek; daughter Zoey Rogers; grandchildren Eloise and Franklin Buczek; sister Andrea “Andy” (Greg) Feese; and brother Charles “Chuck” (Virginia) Buczek.
Graveside inurnment service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023, 10:30 a.m. (MT), at Hamlet Cemetery, Hamlet, with a celebration of life to follow at 1 p.m. (MT), at the Imperial VFW Hall, Imperial.
