Burial Service: Fred and Delpha Olmsted

    Frederick Wayne Olmsted and his wife, Delpha June (Colson) Olmsted were laid to rest at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska on Friday, June 9, 2023. Their families were in attendance, including their children Kathyrn (Olmsted) Spence, Edward Olmsted and Ronald Olmsted, their spouses and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Frederick (Fritz) was the son of Frederick and Beulah (Hann) Olmsted of Wauneta.  He is survived by one brother, Gene, of Powell, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Larry, and his daughter, Cheryl (Cherry) Neverve.
    Delpha was the daughter of Harry and Lucy (Troxel) Colson of Wauneta. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Omar and Edwin and sister Thelma Graham.
    Fritz’s grandfather, John Hann of Wauneta, was the founder and editor of the Wauneta Breeze until his death in 1933.
