In a rematch of a Dec. 7 game in the first round of the Cattle Trail Tournament, the Wauneta-Palisade boys’ basketball team lost to Dundy County Stratton last week.
Like the first time they played, points were hard to come by for the Broncos in the 12-59 loss.
Laiden Lawler scored WP’s first and only basket of the first half. Gratn Walker made three free throws and Aidan Kennicutt one to give the Broncos six first half points.
Ruel Malcolm went 2-2 from the free throw line for WP’s only points in the third quarter.
Aden Acton got in on the action in the fourth quarter, making WP’s only field goal.
Garrett Hanna and Ashton Wheeler each made a free throw in the fourth quarter to round out Bronco scoring.
