Troy Kost

Troy David Kost was born March 14, 1963, in Leadville, Colorado, to Karola (Geobel) and Richard J. Kost. He was raised by his stepfather, Ronald J. Shank. He grew up in Kansas and graduated from Saline High School in 1982.
After graduation, Troy moved to Colorado where he owned and managed several rental properties in Thornton, Westminster and Denver. While living in Colorado, Troy met Wendy Schorr who became his life partner.
The couple decided to move to the Kenny Kelley property in Champion, Nebraska, in 2004. They then moved to Enders where they have resided until present.
Troy was employed by many in the community to make improvements to their properties. He loved to fish and enjoyed hunting with his wirehair pointers, which he raised.
Troy passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at the Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial. He was 58 years of age.
Survivors include his life partner, Wendy Schorr of Enders; daughter, Lawra Moore of Lakewood, Colorado; sister, Christine Judkins of Los Angeles, California; brother, Roger Kost of Wichita, Kansas; nephew, Tim (Chelsea) Judkins; niece, Taja Judkins; great-nieces: Audrey, Sophia and Leena Judkins.
