Graveside services: Irvin and Thelma Long

Graveside services for Irvin and Thelma (Siefken) Long will be Saturday, July 24, at 11 a.m. (MT) at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta.
Irvin was born Aug. 22, 1935, and died April 3, 2020, at the age of 84. Thelma was born June 24, 1938, and died June 27, 2021, at the age of 83. The couple was married March 12, 1955.
Preceding them in death were a daughter, Penny Ritchie; grandson, Shawn Ritchie; Irvin’s parents, Winifred “Hack” and Hazel (North) Long; Thelma’s parents, Arthur and Lois (Clements) Siefken; Irvin’s brothers, Marion Long and Bud Long; his infant sister; Thelma’s brother, Jerry Siefken; and their sister-in-law, Millie Long.
Survivors include their four daughters: Jean (husband Fred) Thomas of York, Jacqua “Jackie” (husband Randy) Georges of McCook, Jody (husband Duane) French of Sioux City, Iowa, Terry (Mike Kahler) Landolt of Sutton; son, Bill (wife Leann) Long of Waco; 20 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
