Romero to open for Hairball August 13
The Friday, Aug. 13 Hairball concert at this year’s fair just got better with the addition of Romero as the opener for the show.
Christopher Charles Romero will bring his multi-talents to the stage Aug. 13. Not only is he a singer, songwriter multi-instrumentalist, he’s an actor, writer, director and producer.
A crossover genre artist based in both Denver and Nashville, Romero’s mix of both hard rock, country & southern rock will make him the ideal match for Hairball’s wide range of musical artists they portray.
Romero’s efforts have garnered him airplay nationwide on both active rock and country radio.
He’s had three singles crack the Top 6 on iHeartCountry/IHeartRadio on The Shawn Patrick Show in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming.
Romero had shared the stage and toured both as solo acoustic artist and with his full band. Some include Tesla, Joan Jett, Reo Speedwagon, Dwight Yoakam, The Winery Dogs, Bush and Night Ranger, just to name a few.
As an actor, Romero has appeared in a number of films including “Things To Do In Denver When You’re Dead” with Andy Garcia and Christopher Walken, “Halloween II,” and “Killer Ink” with Peter Mayhew of Chewbacca fame.
Romero also wrote the pilot for a YouTube series which he’ll be directing in the fall of 2021.
